Is this for you?

The Woodhouse is for you if you...

Want a weekend, not a single day

Their words: weddings here are more than a single day. Arrive, settle your people into the Barnstay and the suites, marry by the lake, and wake up on the estate together.

Want the whole estate, and nobody else on it

One wedding at a time. No other weddings, no shared spaces with outside guests. From the ceremony to the final dance, the estate is yours.

Want architecture, not a marquee

A timber reception building with 7-metre ceilings, 4-metre windows, a freestanding fireplace, an inside-outside bar and an undercover dance floor under fairy lights.

Want the dog there, and everyone able to get around

Dogs are welcome. There is an accessible car space at the door, an accessible bathroom, and transport for less mobile guests between the ceremony and the reception.

Meet the owners

Hi, we’re Gab and Chris

We bought Redwood Park in 2004 and have spent twenty years planting it: more than 9,500 trees, the willows and paperbarks along the lake, the rows of junipers that became The Pines. The Woodhouse opened its doors in 2018, the Soho Suite followed in 2023, and the eight off-grid eco suites in 2025, so your closest people can all sleep on the estate.

Our motto is your day, your way. There is only ever one wedding here at a time, Casey and the team run it, and Fennel & Co cook it. Ceremonies unfold beside the lake or beneath the trees, guests gather on the terrace as the sun sets, the evening carries on inside the Woodhouse, and then everyone walks to bed.

Pick a time below and we’ll call you: your date, your numbers, and whether it’s a weekend or a midweek wedding. Then come and walk the estate with us.

Yes. The owners have one themselves. Dogs can’t sleep in the Soho Suite or the eco suites, and children are welcome with a parent watching, because the estate has unfenced dams.
